Rebecca + Marko were married 15.11.2014

I don’t think there are many words in the english language that I can use that really come close to describing Rebecca and Marko’s wedding. I typed spectacular into the thesaurus and there were a few potential contenders. Breath taking, magnificent, wondrous, sensational and then a few that feel a bit mediocre in telling their story, fantastic, amazing – yes it was – but I know when you see this wedding, the location, the details, the emotion, the fun, their bond with their family and friends, and Rebecca and Marko themselves and as a couple, I think you will all be a little lost for words too!

Maleny Retreat is one of those places that you get to and you just fall in love with. The property and the views are to die for and there are just too many possibilities for photos. I could have stayed there for days! Joy is incredibly helpful and was a complete saviour with her buggies to drive us to a couple of spots. I also had the pleasure of meeting and working with Josh and Grace from Unveil Films. We were so blown away with all of the work that Rebecca and Marko had put in to the planning and decorating of their wedding. They, with their family and friends, must have had so many “working bees” which all came together in the most spectacular way.

So you are probably tiring of me gushing over this incredible day so I let Rebecca and Marko tell you a bit and then you can feast your eyes on the imagery. Thank you Rebecca and Marko for choosing me to be a part of your spectacular wedding. It truly was the most unforgettable day for me as well.

Our Wedding was such a magical day, and one of the fondest memories we now have to look back on. We spent months doing little projects for our big day like collecting, sanding, and painting 100 vintage timber chairs, collecting recycled timber so my dad could hand craft our bridal table, making our stationary… the list goes on. While we were certainly exhausted after the day was over after months of preparing, we could never have pulled it off without the generous help of all our family and friends. We are so lucky to be surrounded by such amazing people. In addition to the help from family & friends, our suppliers were all absolutely fantastic. We couldn’t speak more highly of each supplier who played varying roles in the lead up and on the day.

Our perfect vintage marquee wedding was exactly as we imagined, and we couldn’t be happier!
